Mico Smiljanic is professional documentary, news and editorial photographer based in Montreal, Canada. He started his carrier in the early 80s and in the 1990 got a position in  major daily newspaper in Eastern Europe.

During 90s he also freelanced for “Associated Press” and “Reuters” news agencies covering the civil war in former Yugoslavia. After moving to Canada in 2000 he continued to work  for different clients in North America and Europe.

Mico brings a sharp eye for detail and refined sense to capture the decisive moment in a truly artistic manner. His photographic work has been published in magazines, newspapers and books worldwide.
